Having spent all day on Saturday enjoying all the quirks and wonders of the simple graphite pencil (not to mention a crash course in composition, proportion, negative space, blind drawing and perspective), I’m booked in for another pencil workshop at Rural Antics on the 21st to do it all again and it’s going to be a autumn affair.
Love a pumpkin (very eco too, drawing one day / soup the next)

Even if you haven’t drawn since your school days this workshop will help you unearth your creativity and improve your techniques. The exceptionally talented artist Sue will be sharing her skills and tips to help encourage you to take up drawing and improve your skills. Located in our 100sqm Craft barn you will have time to relax, engage and take inspiration from the beautiful views from the window
What is included – All materials will be provided for you and the workshop includes a two-course vegetarian lunch served with local wine. At the end of the day you will have created your own pencil drawing to take home with you.
Who is this workshop for? Everyone, but perfect for absolute beginners or people with some drawing skill who want to improve or learn new techniques
